Got this one this morning on my Hotmail account I use for junk and phishing emails. Same manager, William Kim but from manager@birmingham.us. I checked my Visa card, I haven't received any V.me alerts. I still put a fraud management watch on my account. It may be overkill, but I have placed some orders online and all the charges that have posted I recogonize. It's an obvious rouse the date is in European fashion, January is at the header, and the oddest thing of all is I was expecting a package on February 8th. Also, 2 msn accounts were BCCed on this email. Scheme.
ReplyDeleteI've received an e-mail from the same sender manager@birmingham.us so is it a fraud???

ReplyDeleteYour best bet is to contact Fedex directly. Whatever you do, do not click on the link. That's how you get into trouble.
ReplyDeleteI work for Fedex and we DO NOT send out emails like this plus even if we did the sender address would be FEDEX not lincoln.us or any other email address. If you do recieve an email like this please forward it to abuse@fedex.com then please delete the email.
